DO WE STOP BY THE ATTRACTIONS ON THE RIDE?
Yes! We have short stops by the main attractions where the guide talks about the sights, the history and also share a few anecdotes.
DO YOU CANCEL IF IT RAINS OR SNOWS?
No we do not cancel our tours if it rains, snows etc. The only instance where we would cancel a tour is if it is very icy. If this happens we will let participants know in advance either via email or phone. It is however, very rare that conditions are so icy that we have to cancel, so if you are in doubt…expect to ride
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
In Denmark we have the cold winters and relatively warm summers, so weather conditions vary significantly. It is always a good idea to check the weather conditions before travelling to Copenhagen, so that you know what temperatures to expect.
During the colder months we always recommend people to wear an extra layer in addition to what they would normally wear as we have short stops along the ride, in order to take photos and for the guide to talk about the attractions. It is much better to be able to take off a layer, as opposed to be freezing or having blue lips when having your picture taken by the Little Mermaid.
In summer you can easily just wear a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. It is, however, very important to remember sunscreen (at least SPF 15), so that sun burn is avoided.
IS THERE WATER ON THE TOUR?
Water is not included so we always recommend our guests to bring their own water on a warm day. There are a few public water fountains along the way, so if you are in need of a sip of water, simply ask the guide to point out a drinking spot
HOW FAST DO YOU RIDE ON THE TOURS, DO I HAVE TO BE AN ELITE CYCLIST TO PARTICIPATE?
No, not at all. We bike in s steady pace and follows the normal traffic. As our tours are group tours, we always try to set the pace so anyone in the group can keep up. However, we expect that all guests know how to ride a bicycle without assistance.
I HAVE BOOKED A HELMET, WHEN AND WHERE DO I PICK THEM UP?
The helmet is ready for you at the start at Westend 4, DK – 1661 Copenhagen V. You can rent a helmet for free, but has to return it immediately after the tour to you guide. It is not regulatory to wear a helmet in Denmark.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO STORE BAGS AND CLOTHES AT THE PLACE WE START?
Its not unfortunately. It is, however, possible to bring a small bag on the bike, which has a bike carrier to small belongings.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE PICTURES ALONG THE WAY?
Yes, you can bring your camera and snap away. Please share good picture on our Facebook page.
